When ordering a painting (or a drawing), you get to be a part of the creative process and influence the result by deciding how you want the painting to be like - the size, the color palette, the motive and so on. You also get to see the painting during the process, and comment on it if you like! The more specific your wishes and descriptions are, the easier it will be for me to fulfill those wishes.

The process
The process starts when we have an agreement about the painting you would like me to paint, and the agreement includes the price and an approximately delivery date (see prices below). Try to be as specific as you can when you describe the painting you want - and you may also describe or send photos of the room the painting will be in.
From time your order and until the painting is finished, it takes approximately one month. If you're in a hurry - let me know!
You get to see the painting when it is finished - and you may suggest changes. You also have the right not to buy the painting if you don't like it when it's finished. The painting you buy should appeal to you - and be good to look at!
For both our safety: I would like you to pay the price the same day as you recieve the painting. When sending a painting: I would like you to pay in advance, and if you want to return the painting whithin 14 days, I will of course repay you the money.
All prices over 2000 NOK/200 EUR includes a 5% art fee.
This list is price examples for acrylic paintings on canvas (cotton or linen). Other formats are possible - and also ink or watercolor paintings!

7000 NOK / 700 EUR: 100X120 cm

How to price a painting? This list of prices is based on how much the materials cost - I only use material of highest quality, on the amount of fees and taxes I need to pay etc, and on how much time I need to paint a painting (averagely). In addition to materials, fees and taxes, I also need to pay my other bills, like accounting, webpage-costs, advertising, and the costs related to having my own business instead of beeing an employee. So - these prices are made to cover my costs and also give me as an artist a fair salary - but I also hope that the prices are fair to you - my customer!
The prices on drawings are about 500-3500 NOK / 50-350 EUR, depending on size, technique and the amount of details.
