CV

MereteLundetræ

I'm a norwegian artist working in a broad field with visual art, theatre projects, art projects and literature.

I'm also    the grateful wife of a musician, a  lucky mother to four lively children,    an enthusiastic  cook, a devoted gardener, an eager supporter of positive thinking, spending time in nature, doing yoga, practicing foregiveness and never ever stop playing.

I'm a fighter for women's and children's rights, equality, socialism, love  and sustainable, natural  living -  like it is shown to us by the ecovillage movement. I believe that  we all matter!

DRAWING PROJECTS

  • Guerilla-Calligraphy Part 1:Shown digitally during "the Protest festival" in Kristiansand, september 2017. Guerilla-Calligraphy is my own concept. They are calligraphies and handlettering art, with a strong political, surprising, provocing og protesting content. They are about good craft and own opinions, meant to make the reader reflect about the content. The theme in the first Guerilla-calligraphy series, was "the parlimentary elections".
  • Guerilla-Calligraphy Part 2: A production for "the Cultural School Bag" in Kristiansand, a workshop that toured secondary schools, where the youth got to draw their own guerilla-calligraphies. September 2018.
  • Guerilla-Calligraphy Part 3 & 4 have the themes "climate, plastic and the future of the earth" and "the Uprbringing of boys today" - and they will be produced in the spring 2019.
